Western Australia’s emerging creatives are set to take significant steps forward in their artistic careers after being awarded Next Level Fellowships, delivered by Regional Arts WA with support from the WA Government’s Regional Arts and Cultural Investment Program.
Reckless is a comic suspense series showcasing Perth and the port city of Fremantle, as well as an impressive lineup of Western Australian cast and crew. The production was shot entirely on-location in Perth and Fremantle, contributing more than $5 million into the WA economy, creating 250 jobs for local screen practitioners.

Merredin Regional Arts engaged artists to work with the local community to create the public Merredin Community Art Trail.
Now Sounds is an intercultural dance, music, spoken word and video project created by artists and young people from First Nations and multicultural communities.
Artists ran collaborative weaving workshops with high schools and community in metro, regional, on Country and online to create a large scale artwork.
The Home: Sculptural Habitats project connected Southern Forrest Arts with 10 local schools to create a series of small sculptural installations that provide homes for forest creatures.
The Centre for Stories worked with students and teachers at Cecil Andrews College to produce, share and promote creative writing and oral storytelling works.
This program was a community based singing, storytelling and interdisciplinary project that explored identity and the concept of home inspired by the metaphor of the magpie's nest.
AWESOME Arts partnered with the State Library of WA to run an artist in residence program in regional public libraries and community resource centres.
Felicity will showcase this new body of works at a solo show “The Sadness of the Chairs” at Gallows Gallery in November 2020.
In early 2021, the collection will also contribute to an exhibition being planned for April 2021 at the Stanley Street gallery, Sydney.
