Regional Servicing Grants

Enabling delivery of quality sport opportunities for regional Western Australians.

The Industry Investment Program — Regional Servicing Grant (IIP-RSG) provides funding to State Sporting Associations (SSAs)  to deliver quality sport opportunities for regional Western Australians. 

This is achieved by growing participation and improving capacity and capability at a regional level. The IIP-RSG elevates an SSA’s base level of regional servicing and programming that is achieved through the IIP categorisation. 

The objectives of the IIP-RSG are to: 
  • Enable organisations to deliver quality sport and recreation opportunities for regional Western Australians.  
  • Support organisations to assist member regional associations and clubs achieve their operational goals that will lead to increased participation opportunities.  
  • Support organisations to improve member associations and clubs’ planning, management and governance policies and practices to build and enhance their capacity and capability.  
  • Support the development and implementation of regional servicing plans that are aligned to an organisations strategic and operational plans. 
The IIP-RSG is available for recognised and eligible SSAs and financial support is provided as an investment into an SSA’s regional servicing plans and the development of six industry pillars including: 
  1. Strategic alignment 
  2. Operational planning  
  3. Financial planning  
  4. SSA capacity and capability 
  5. Servicing and expansion 
  6. Regional membership.
