How to reserve a voucher and redeem a rebate

Participating in the Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program is a 3 step process:

  1. Reserve your voucher/s via the ServiceWA app
  2. Buy your tickets for an arts or cultural event from an approved venue or provider
  3. Claim your rebate by uploading your tax invoice/s in the ServiceWA app.

Where to use your voucher

The Kids Access All Areas Vouchers program aims to offset the cost of children and young people attending arts and cultural events. The program has a total of 50,000 vouchers, with an initial allocation of 25,000 vouchers in the first year.

Types of events you may attend include but are not limited to:

  • theatre
  • dance
  • live music
  • comedy
  • circus
  • exhibitions (including Scitech).

You can only purchase tickets from approved venues and providers for arts and cultural events suitable for children and young people.

Vouchers can be used for online events or digital performances hosted by an approved venue or provider listed in the program.

Vouchers cannot be used for the following:

  • workshops or classes
  • non-arts or cultural events offered by approved venues and providers (for example, you cannot claim a rebate for AFL tickets at Optus Stadium)
  • movie tickets
  • school organised activities.

Voucher value

Your voucher value will be determined by how many children you apply for, at $50 per child. For example:

  • $50 for 1 child
  • $100 for 2 children
  • $150 for 3 children
  • $200 for 4 children.

Regional WA

There are more than 44 venues or providers participating across regional WA. You may use your voucher to purchase tickets from any approved venue or provider, regardless of your location. For example, if you live in Broome and hold a voucher, you can use it to purchase tickets to Scitech in Perth and still be eligible for a rebate.

Timeline for using vouchers

Remember you must reserve a voucher before you purchase your tickets.

You may submit a claim for the rebate once you have purchased your tickets.

If you don’t submit a claim before the 31 May 2026 deadline, the voucher(s) will expire and cannot be reused or transferred. Late claims will not be accepted, even if you reserved a voucher.

Vouchers that have been reserved cannot be returned or transferred.
