From 1 July 2025, the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) replaces the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).
The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) Recreation Camps seeks to promote, encourage and support strategies to minimise harm from alcohol in the interests of the health and safety.
CITS Recreation Camps do not have a catering licence covering the sale or supply of alcoholic beverages. As a result, alcohol is not permitted at CITS Recreation Camps unless written approval has been provided by the camp manager (or delegate) to the client.

Guests should only consume alcohol in moderation. We believe it is essential to create a greater awareness of harm minimisation and contribute to the reduction of alcohol-related problems such as drink driving and aggressive/anti-social behaviour.
