Indian Ocean Territories — Arts Activities in Regional Communities 

Program objectives

• Increase access to and/or participation in arts and culture in the Indian Ocean Territories.
• Provide employment opportunities, skills development or/and career pathways for Indian Ocean Territories artists and arts workers.
• Encourage development of local creative and cultural industries including cultural tourism.
• Support community led activities and creative developments.
• Contribute to social inclusion, wellbeing, cohesion and vibrancy in Indian Ocean Territories communities.

What can be applied for?

Creative Projects

Grants of up to $60,000 for arts and cultural activities and creative developments that:

• align with the program objectives
• take place in the Indian Ocean Territories (IOT)
• demonstrate they are by, with and for IOT communities or responding to community needs, interests and aspirations
• involve highly skilled arts and cultural practitioners
• be completed within 18 months from the eligible start date
• encourage inclusion and participation of people from diverse communities and identities, where appropriate.

Applications are open to Indian Ocean Territories based:

• local governments
• organisations, groups and individuals.
