Woodvale families have more ways to enjoy the outdoors, with new and upgraded recreation facilities now complete at Chichester Park.

Supported by an $800,000 State Government election commitment, the upgrades have revitalised the popular local park, providing more opportunities for children and young people to get active and families to spend time together.

A new beginner-level skate park provides a place for young skaters to build their confidence, alongside an upgraded play space with modern equipment, softfall, and shade sails.

The existing basketball and netball pad has also been upgraded, giving locals an improved space to practise their skills or enjoy a game with friends.

New picnic shelters, seating, landscaping, and park furniture complement the recreation facilities, making Chichester Park a welcoming place for families to gather and spend time outdoors.

The works are part of the PlayOn WA initiative, which is investing in community sport and recreation infrastructure across Western Australia.

PlayOn WA will deliver 2,030 infrastructure items by 2030, ensuring long-term benefits for communities across the State.
