Delivered as part of a $850,000 State Government election commitment, the new $425,015 lighting enhances the venue for the Eaton Boomers Football Club and wider community by expanding access for night training, matches, and events.
The investment will help to activate the space year-round and encourage more people to get involved in sport and recreation by improving the experience for players, umpires, families, and volunteers.
Future upgrades include the supply and install of a new scoreboard and extended verandahs.
These works form part of the State Government's PlayOn WA initiative, delivering 2,030 infrastructure items by 2030 and ensuring long-term benefits for communities across the State.
