Funding for Regional local governments to develop creative and cultural plans or revise existing plans.

Examples of arts and cultural activities that can be funded through this program include regional local government managed community engagement and consultation processes related to developing creative and cultural plans.

Applications that involve collaborations with multiple local government authorities (LGA) or that demonstrate consultation with neighbouring LGAs and the regional development commission will be highly regarded.

Activities must:

  • align with the program objectives
  • take place in regional or remote WA
  • demonstrate they are by, with and for regional communities or responding to community needs, interests and aspirations
  • involve arts and cultural practitioners with the demonstrated expertise to deliver the project
  • align with existing relevant local regional government strategic community plans
  • encourage expression and participation by people from diverse backgrounds, where appropriate.
