 we hold copies of many mission records\, station records and personal file
 s that were created by the former &lsquo\;Department of &lsquo\;Native Wel
 fare&rsquo\;. We&rsquo\;ll also introduce you to other resources such as t
 he State Library of Western Australia Storylines Program\, the Berndt fiel
 d notes archive and the Norman Tindale Collection.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;These reco
 rds can help people learn more about their family history\, ancestors\, co
 mmunities and connections to Country.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;We can help you:&nbsp\
 ;learn about Aboriginal family history records and resources&nbsp\;find ou
 t how to apply for family history research&nbsp\;get help starting an appl
 ication.&nbsp\;About the Registry of Births\, Deaths and Marriages WAThe R
 egistry team can provide information and support with:&nbsp\;applying for 
 a birth\, death or marriage certificate&nbsp\;&nbsp\;getting a birth certi
 ficate if you have never had one and understanding your options if you do 
 not have enough identification&nbsp\;&nbsp\;changing your name or gender&n
 bsp\;&nbsp\;what to do if you need help to pay for a certificate.&nbsp\;Th
 ese are free\, informal drop-in sessions. You can meet our teams\, ask que
 stions and learn what support is available.&nbsp\;Please note\, family his
